Estiko Packaging Solutions moves forward with warehouse expansion

Estiko Packaging Solutions, the leading packaging supplier in the Baltics is moving forward with the construction of its new warehouse complex, supporting the company’s growing production volume and enabling future expansion. The completion of the new building is scheduled for the beginning of next year.

The new 3,000 m² warehouse features 11-metre-high shelving, allowing for the storage of a large volume of materials used in the production of packaging and packaging solutions. Thanks to the introduction of man-up stackers, this smart solution not only increases the number of pallet positions but also improves workplace safety by enabling secure and precise handling of materials even at higher shelf levels.

“The investments are not only aimed at increasing production efficiency – they also create better conditions for our people and the wider community,” explained Meelis Jürgens, CEO of Estiko Packaging Solutions. “We aim to offer an environment where all employees feel valued, safe, and supported to grow, both professionally and personally.”

Solar panels installed on the warehouse roof further support the company’s ambition of moving towards a more sustainable future. Already today, Estiko Packaging Solutions uses green energy for all its packaging production, with 10% generated by the solar park installed on the factory roof. Combined with active R&D and the use of sustainable materials, the company continuously strengthens its competitiveness and delivers innovative solutions that meet customer expectations in the global market.

Warehouse expansion is part of Estiko Packaging Solutions’ broader investment plan aimed at improving production efficiency and enhancing technological capability. With the completion of the complex, the project will move to the next stage, which involves installing a new-generation printing machine in the factory. This addition will increase printing capacity by 10-15% and pave the way for further automation of production processes.

In total, the company is investing nearly €6 million in the development of its existing production complex.
