Each year, the Responsible Business Forum recognises companies, public organisations, and non-profits for following fair practices, leading movements, and setting a good example to others. According to Meelis Jürgens, CEO of Estiko-Plastar, the bronze quality label shows that Estiko is on the right track. „The achieved bronze level is clearly a recognition to us. What is more, the CSR Index allows us to evaluate the directions of our activities.”
The index develops over time with business environment. This year, the questionnaire was built in a self-assessment format to help the company become more aware of its contribution and opportunities for development. The questions have been complied based on best international practices while keeping in mind the level of development of Estonian companies. For the first time ever, the index was also framed by Sustainable Development Goals.
Gold, silver, and bronze quality labels have been given to several hundred responsible businesses for 13 years. This year, a total of 63 companies participated in the Index of which 53 received a label. The quality label will be issued for two years.
